What was the highlight of Gran Hotel Cochabamba
The room was lovely, the dining and spa service can use some work.
We loved the room #301. There is a nice terrace and it overlooks the courtyard. Love the tub! The breakfast was great. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The front desk, parking and bellhop service was great.
The service in the restaurant was not good and the food was just passable. The Ceasar salad was limp, stale croutons, and barely any dressing. The ceviche was too limey; almost inedible. We ordered a pitcher of juice at the pool and it never arrived and when we told the service person, instead of him going to get it, we had to go get it. We booked massages and when we arrived for the session, we were told that the therapist was out of town and we could not have massages.

Breakfast was good.
AC does not provide enough heat, and therefore an extra appareil is needed.

Location was good.
No currency exchange for Australian dollars, which should be available in a hotel like that. Smaller hotels that we have stayed in in Chocabamba have exchanged our Australian dollars for Bolivian
